Sunset Sisters- The Walker House is a brand new home centrally located on Deer Isle. The open-concept main floor with natural wood ceilings is bright,and comfortable. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms with king, queen, and twin beds, respectively. There is a full bath on each floor, and full-sized laundry on the main floor. The layout is very flexible- cozy and quiet for a couple, or open and social for your family group (pets and kids included!). The kitchen is well-equipped, featuring a large island of native Deer Isle granite

The house is brand new. Landscaping and exterior elements are still a work in progress, as shown in the property pictures. The property already includes an outdoor gas grill, firepit and picnic area. Plans for the near future include a full deck. The website and photos will be updated to reflect these upgrades as they happen.

Sunset Sisters at The Walker House is a brand new, beautiful open concept home with three bedrooms and two full baths. The house sits on four plus acres of lawn,fields and woods. Enjoy the firepit and grill in the backyard. Sunset Sisters is centrally located on the Island. It allows for easy access to the popular event venues, Edgewood Farms, Aragosta and the Island Country Club.

About the Owner

My sister Susan and I took over the family home in 2021. We initially intended to renovate the old home. After a few too many issues, we decided to rebuild. We are both extremely happy with the new home. We plan on landscaping the yard and adding a large back deck in the Fall. My husband and I raised our three children on Deer Isle. We have relocated to Greenville, ME but love to get back to the Island whenever we can.

Guests will have access to the entire house with the exception of the walk out basement and barn. Emergency access to the basement will be allowed if guest needs to reset a breaker in the panel. The new AFCI breakers can be a bit sensitive and a few are nuisance tripping occasionally. We are working with our electrician to resolve this issue.
